Cleaning the pick line...

this is libbey, for those who don't know what happened to this little girl, here is the breif. She had gotta MRSA staff infection into her blood and we almost lost her about six weeks ago. Good news.. She is home they have been home for two weeks now. She still has to have the pick line in her main artery so that medicin can go straight to the her blood. She is doing great she gets medicine every eight hours into this pick line. It takes about two hours for the meds to finish untill they can take the med part off. This picture is just a pix of libbey with her nurse that comes to the house to clean the pick line. They are cleaning it in this pix. You have to be very carefull and the person that is cleaning it has to be steril and can't even breath on the pick line. Everything that this nurse touches has to be steril and free of germs so in order to do this they have to go into a seperate room where there are no chilren nor animals. Heather also has to give her two shots a day to help with the thinning of her blood sense she got two blood transfusions and two blood clots. Its a lot of work and stress but they manage really well and are happy to be home and not in a hospital room. i think that they were starting to get cabin fever sense they couldn't do much. We are very happy to have her home and still with us, this little girl was blessed with her own angel, and by god himself.
Libbey tells stories on how she almost went to live with jesus but it just wasnt' time for her yet. He said not yet and sent her back, She talks all the time about how she wasnt' going because her mommy and daddy along with her sister and brother would be sad. Give me the chills...... we thank the lord every day for his desicion........ don't ever think twice cause it can happen it happened to all of us..... live life as if everyday were the last.....
